Nursing Endowment for University of Ulster

A new lectureship in Nursing at the University of Ulster has been inaugurated by Miss Mona Grey. Miss Grey was Chief Nursing Officer at the then Ministry of Health and Social Services in Belfast from 1960 until her retirement in 1975. She has bestowed this distinction on the University in recognition of its pivotal role in the promotion of excellence in education, practice development and research in nursing, midwifery and health visiting in Northern Ireland.
The lectureship will be known as the 'Mona Grey Annual Nursing Lectureship' based on the endowment of £39,000.
