Students, their parents and industrialists are to attend a special evening at Magee College to look at the Information Technology industry and its career prospects.

Among those present will be representatives from the major firm, Microsoft.

Mrs Terri Scott is Head of the School of Computing and Mathematics at the University of Ulster:

"Computing need not be about sitting in front of terminals all day coding in information." she said.
