Councillors and senior officials from Newtownabbey Borough Council attended a briefing and reception hosted by Provost Bill Clarke this week.

Mayor Paul Girvan led the group of community representatives that met with Professor Clarke for briefings on developments and future plans for the University and the Jordanstown campus in particular.

The briefing also gave councillors and officials an opportunity to interact with senior staff at the University and raise a number of issues of concern to local residents in the area.
