Dish it Up! Goes Down A Treat At BIMA Awards 2003

Dish it Up! the interactive nutrition education CD-ROM for 12 year olds developed in part by academics from the University of Ulster, has received a commendation in the British Interactive Media Association Awards 2003.
The BIMA Awards are widely recognised as the most prestigious interactive media awards in the UK, and this year, had a record number of submissions. Dish it Up! received its commendation in the shortlist in the Training & Home Learning category.
The CD-ROM was developed by Professor Barbara Livingstone, Dr Paula Robson and Professor Anne Moran from the University of Ulster and Dr Michele McKinley from the Dairy Council in London, in association with Interface New Media and Food and Health Communications, for the Food Standards Agency.
The fun-filled yet challenging CD-ROM is designed to interest and motivate young people towards healthier eating. Dish it Up! has been distributed free of charge to every school in the UK and has been extremely well received by both pupils and teachers.
