For one day only next week, jewellery, ceramics and prints by some of Ireland’s most promising young artists will be on display.

Event Organiser, Clive Fiddis, lecturer in the School of Art and Design said: "This Christmas event has become very popular with people wanting to snap up distinctive presents made by the artists and designers of the future. Prices will range from £5 and all work will be presented in designer wrapping.

"The sale offers a great chance to buy beautiful, individual items whilst supporting the work of up-and-coming young artists.

"It gives students the chance to take their work into the commercial realm and provides a show case for their endeavours. This year we can guarantee lots of stunning work. It’s s a real treasure trove for the discerning Christmas shopper."

The Christmas sale of work will take place on Thursday 9^th December from 4pm to 7pm at the Belfast campus Orpheus Building (the old Co-Op), York Street, Belfast.
