Community Fellowship for Business Expert

Mrs Jackie McCoy, senior lecturer in the University’s Business Institute, has been awarded a Distinguished Community Fellowship by the University of Ulster.

 

The Distinguished Community Fellowship award recognises Mrs McCoy as having made an outstanding contribution in the field of growth and development of community-based organisations, and in particular her contribution to the development of the social economy sector in Northern Ireland.

 

A graduate of the University of Ulster and Lancaster University, Mrs McCoy was formerly a consultant with the NI Small Business Institute (NISBI), becoming a senior lecturer in the University's new Business Institute in 2002.

 

Mrs McCoy is married with two children - both currently studying business at the University of Ulster  - and lives in Belfast.
