Winter Graduations Begin at UU
The University of Ulster’s Winter Graduation ceremonies get under way today at the University’s Coleraine campus.
The Chancellor of the University, Sir Richard Nichols, will present degrees and diplomas to students from the University’s Coleraine and Magee campuses at today’s two ceremonies.
Over 500 students from the Faculties of Business and Management, Social Sciences, Arts, Engineering and Life & Health Sciences will receive awards at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Today’s ceremonies will also see special awards presented to:
Senior Distinguished Research Fellowship: Professor Richard Bradford
Senior Distinguished Research Fellowship: Professor John McCloskey
Senior Distinguished Research Fellowship: Professor Rosalind Pritchard
Distinguished Research Fellowship: Dr Victor Gault
Distinguished Teaching Fellowship: Professor Ken Houston
Distinguished Teaching Fellowship: Dr Tom Maguire

Tomorrow, the graduation ceremonies move to the University’s Jordanstown campus in Newtownabbey.
