The University’s Community Relations team and the Students’ Union brought a little Christmas cheer to the Holyland residents yesterday by hosting a festive party.

Students and residents enjoyed the celebrations at the City Church as part of the University’s Community Relations Programme.

Representatives from the Students Union helped prepare the venue and the Site Vice President of the Belfast campus, Chris McDermott, added to the festive atmosphere by dressing up as Santa.

Anne Monaghan, Community Relations Manager said: “We run a number of events through out the year for students and residents in the Holyland as part of our commitment to local communities. This was one such initiative and we were delighted to have the support of the Students’ Union.”
