UU Degree Spelled Cool Career Move for Top Presenter

28th February 2006

Cool FM visit

Cool FM DJ Pete Snodden paid a visit to the University’s Coleraine campus today to tell prospective students how a business degree put him on a path to success.

Pete, who completed a degree in International Business at the University, was speaking at an open day hosted by the School of Business, Retail and Financial Services.

The event was planned to help students make the decision on their first choice of University and course.

“In 2006/07 the School will be introducing a range of new business degrees including a BSc Hons Business and further degrees in Business along with new subjects such as Marketing, Retail Studies, and Accounting,” said Dr Barry Quinn, Head of School.

“This event gave applicants the chance to meet staff and current students on our courses. The Coleraine campus has a lot to offer prospective students and we hope that this event will help to get that message across.”
