Navy High-Fliers Visit Jordanstown

There was a high-level surprise for the students at Jordanstown this week when the Royal Navy landed one of its Sea King helicopters at the campus.

The Sea King ASAC Mark 7 was taking part in a promotional exercise for the Navy and after visiting Ashfield Girls High School, Belfast, the three-man crew made the seven minute flight across Belfast Lough to meet students at the University.

Taking the opportunity to get a glimpse into the high-tech world of military aviation were Engineering and Management students Engineering Management students Catherine Cunningham, Mary Gormley, Charlotte Donnelly, and Ryan Hurson (below)
