UU Hosts Songwriting Seminar

The University will be hosting a songwriting seminar as part of its Songcraft series, at the Belfast campus this week.
The session, led by renowned artist Brian Huston, will offer an insight into his craft and the opportunity to tap into his expertise as a writer and performer.Cultural Development Officer, Tim Kerr said: “Now seven albums into his career, Brian Houston’s songwriting, recordings and live performances just seem to improve as time goes by, with glowing reviews from BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris, Mojo, and the Classic Rock Society.”
The seminar will take place on Friday 24 November, in the Belfast campus,York Street, at 4.30pm. Admission is free.The event is part of the University’s Creativty Zone Programme and is run in collaboration with the Northern Ireland Music Industry Commission.
