Tutors from Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the USA, representing industry and academia, gave lectures and lab sessions. While most participants came from various European countries, there were also participants from Korea, Vietnam, and USA.

The social programme included a reception attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, Professor Bernie Hannigan and a visit to Stormont hosted by MLA Naomi Long.

The event, which ran in Belfast from 16  - 27 July, was partially sponsored by SpeechStorm (Kainos), Belfast.
