Boosting The Entrepreneurial Spirit
The Northern Ireland Centre for Entrepreneurship (NICENT) is hosting a number of events, sponsored by Invest NI, as part of Enterprise Week, the major government initiative designed to promote enterprise.
Events being held at the University of Ulster during Enterprise Week (November 12 – 16) include:
- NICENT, along with the School of Creative Arts, will be hosting a Bond Innovation evening at the Magee campus on November 15 from 6-9pm. Those invited to attend are encouraged to dress as their favourite James Bond film character in homage to the innovative genius of Bond’s quartermaster, Q.
- A one-day Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education workshop, in conjunction with the Irish Network for Teachers and Researchers of Entrepreneurship, will take place at the Assembly Hall of the Portrush campus from 10am-4pm on November 14.
Professor Pauric McGowan, Director of NICENT, said: “This year’s programme has something for everyone, from the aspiring entrepreneurial new venturer to those of us involved in developing innovation and entrepreneurship education.
“At NICENT we aim to stimulate the entrepreneurial senses as well asproviding practical guidance on how to become more entrepreneurial and innovative in all walks of life. The NICENT team has worked hard to develop this programme of events and with the gracious sponsorship of Invest NI, this year’s Enterprise Week promises to be one of the best.
