Two Ulster Business School academics – Lyn Fawcett and Dr Trevor Morrow - have been appointed to the board of the Labour Relations Agency.

Lyn Fawcett is a senior lecturer in the s Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and a member of the University Council. From 2003-2008 he was a board member of Northern Ireland Tourist Board and is currently active in a range of paid and voluntary positions as well as in the Hotel and Tourism Sector. Mr Fawcett is also chair of the Northern Ireland Higher Education Committee of the University and Colleges Union, and was also recently appointed to the board of the Health and Safety Executive.

Dr Trevor Morrow is a lecturer in the Department of International Business, specialising in HR management. He has conducted research into employment relations in a number of high profile public and private sector organisations in Northern Ireland, and has published a number of articles and more latterly a book on employment relations issues. He has participated as an employment relations speaker at a number of conferences in the UK and Republic of Ireland, nd has also served as an employee representative with the Association of University Teachers.
